1部屋を通年個展形式で展示します。

「絹とアートをめぐる旅」ツアーの一環として、国指定重要文化財である中之条町の冨沢家住宅にて作品を展示、また四万温泉にてワークショップを開催しました。

香港の現代美術賞であるソヴリン・アジアン・アートプライズ2022にて入選しました。入選者の展覧会は2022年5月にArt Central HongKongにて開催されました。

about me
Born in 1982 in Hokkaido, based in Gunma, Japan. She works in Japan and the Philippines. Using materials such as glue, handmade paper, thread, and fabric, she creates both two-dimensional works and installations.
Drawing inspiration from microscopic images of cells and microorganisms, folklore, local memory, and biological structures, her work explores the forms of life and the universality of emotion.
Influenced by her experience of relocating from Manila to Gunma, she investigates the relationships between past and present, self and nature, memory and material through landscape and bodily perception.
Recent exhibitions include the Nakanojo Biennale International Contemporary Art Festival 2017, 2019, 2023, and 2025(Japan);
Solo exhibition in The Drawing Room (Manila 2025),
a group exhibition at the Vargas Art Museum (Manila 2022);
a two-artist exhibition at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (Manila 2019) ;
and workshops at the Utsunomiya Museum of Art and Arts Maebashi ( Japan 2024).
She is a recipient of the 2022 Sovereign Asian Art Prize (Hong Kong).
1982年北海道生まれ。2021年にフィリピン・マニラより群馬県に移住。日本とフィリピンで主に活動する。接着剤、手漉き紙、糸、布など多様な素材を用い、平面作品やインスタレーション作品をつくる。
自然や民話・郷土史をリサーチし、人の一生、命のあり方、土地の記憶をテーマに研究する。
・恒久展示は「四万温泉湯の宿山ばと」のアーティストルーム（要予約）
・2025年9月にオープンしたアートスペース「YAAP Yamabiko Artist Apartment」（中之条町）にて通年の個展を開催中
・ポッドキャスト「アートのはなし こけラジオ」を美術作家の根岸桃子さ（CLEMOMO）と配信している
・2024年より中之条町の文化財専門委員を務める
